Sean Boyle

Sean Boyle is the co-founder of BBallstars LLC. and is currently the head boy's varsity basketball coach at Floral Park Memorial High School. Boyle has lead the Knights to two Nassau County finals and was named Conference Coach of the Year in 2017, 2018 and 2022. Prior to coaching at Floral Park, he was the JV basketball coach at H. F. Carey High School for ten seasons. Boyle started his coaching career at Longmeadow High School in Longmeadow MA, and then went on to coach the freshman team at St. Mary's High School in Manhasset. During that time, he also assisted Tim Cluess (Iona College) with the varsity team who was recognized by USA Today as the number one high school team in the country. In addition to coaching, Boyle is a physical education teacher in Franklin Square. He is certified in first aid, CPR, AED, and a BCANY member. Boyle is passionate about teaching the game of basketball the right way; work hard, have fun and get better!
John Brady
John Brady is the co-founder of Bballstars LLC. and has over 20 years of educational and basketball experience at the middle and elementary level. He has had the incredible opportunity to coach middle school basketball throughout Long Island and Manhattan. Brady has also served as a basketball instructor under Teddy Frischling at the Dribble program in New York City. He is currently a physical education teacher in Franklin Square and is certified in CPR and AED. Brady has a natural ability to engage the younger players and motivate them to improve their skills. He believes in creating a family fun basketball environment.
Alex Soupious
Alex Soupios has been the head coach of the girl's varsity basketball team at Sewanhaka High School since 2006. In 2019 Sewanhaka won the Long Island Championship (the first time in school history). Soupios was named Newsdsay Coach of the Year that year due to his historical run. Prior to coaching at Sewanhaka, he worked as an assistant coach for three years at Northport High School under hall of fame coach Rich Castellano. He also served as an assistant coach under Kristin Hoffman at Carey High School. His philosophy combines hard work, skill development with life lessons that the game so plentifully provides.
Matt Kelly
Matt Kelly is currently the JV head coach and Varsity assistant for the boys basketball team at Floral Park Memorial High School. He is also a Physical Education teacher at Buckley Country Day School and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Heath and Physical Education at Adelphi University. In addition to coaching high school athletes, Kelly coaches Middle School basketball at Buckley as well as a 4th grade AAU team for Rising Stars. Kelly is one of Coach Boyle's former players and was named an All Conference player in 2015. Kelly recently received the JV Coach of the Year award in Conference A6 for the 2023-2024 season. Matt Kelly is a very skilled basketball player with a great understanding of the game. He is extremely dedicated and motivated to improve the skills of his players. a
